Yoga of Stillness:

A yoga practice that allows you to let go of tension and deeply rest.

If you are anything like me, you are not the best company if you don’t get a good night’s sleep. Sleep is an integral part of our daily cycles and rhythm. The quality of your sleep is affected by the quality of your rhythm during the day. The repose | sleep cycle offers our body an opportunity to restore and rejuvinate preparing the body to be fit and vital for our day ahead.

However most do not wind down from their day and thus go into sleep taking the day with them. So if you are taking a part of your unresolved day into bed with you then you are most likely not going to have a very settled and restoring nights sleep due to the body not truly being settled.

This is where the Yoga of Stillness plays an important role as it offers the body an opportunity to surrender and let go of the day or any tension one may be carrying. Taking a body to sleep that is more surrendered and settled will most certainly lead to a deeper and more restorative quality sleep and thus a more energised and joy-full day ahead.

The Yoga of Stillness is a self-healing modality when one allows

presence & connection to lead the way
